Responsibilities of an Industry Lecturer
It was during the first semester of school year 2007-2008, when I found myself bravely standing in-front of college students to start with my new job. For the first time, I was assigned to teach and to share my industry knowledge and experiences with college graduating students.
It was a gallant effort, but unselfish … divulging the secrets of the industry to students who may not be ready to accept the responsibility required these information. What if the students prefer to “play” and fool around; instead of work on their school assignments and projects, and improve their skills in different courses.
It is for this reason that students, youthful and playful may be, must be exposed to the standards required by the Industry. It is for them to anticipate and make the necessary adjustment and be ready for the challenges and responsibilites required when they’re time has finally come to step up in the industry.

I am honored to be a student on his (Engr. Isidro) class. A person who I look up to and would want to be seated on one of his class (like a seminar on network administration, ubuntu server configuration or the like).
While others would keep for themselves the knowledge they have learned through experience, this lecturer would do the exact opposite, teaching beyond what is written on the curriculum and opening our eyes that there are still a lot to learn.

I’m a former student of Engr. Ariel Isidro. Though many assignments he gave us, our group lead by me always complied to his requirements. He is a good lecturer, he taught us many things about linux operating system. Sir keep it up, and see ya in software engineering.
